Brief
Client needed a website that utilized fun and exciting visuals while also providing a professional, polished portfolio for their photography services. With limited photographs starting up the photography business, I used landscape photography to "fill in the blanks" until the photographer had photographs more indicative of the services that would be provided -- and knew what services would be provided. The client wanted to focus on becoming a family photographer, so I keyed into "professional, but endearing, fun, and a little quirky" for the initial branding colors and identity. Utilizing a fun and fresh color palette of lime greens, greens, and blues, along with a mix of interesting visual elements such as seldom-seen fonts, gradients, borders, and other shapes, I created a fun but professional (and memorable) portfolio for this photographer's new business.
