Crowdfunding Support

One of the things no one really tells you about when you’re becoming a full time artist is the amount of crowdfunding campaigns you’ll need to administrate, and how time consuming, confusing, and difficult that can be. For many artists, running a crowdfunding campaign at least once a year is a way to make ends meet and fund the rest of their creative year. It stands to reason if you can a. make things easier for yourself and b. maximize the backers you receive based on some fine tuning then having a helping hand can really help you make the most of your annual shot at crowdfunding.

As an artist myself, I know the headaches of running a crowdfunding campaign. Having to write everything yourself (and have it answer most if not all questions a backer may have), make all the graphics for the campaign itself, as well as all the graphics and content for social media/email marketing/etc, and then having to be the sole person responsible for actually promoting it when it comes time the campaign is running is time consuming and exhausting.

But what if you didn’t have to do all of it yourself?

What I can do for your BackerKit, Kickstarter, etc campaign

At this point, I’ve run four crowdfunding campaigns on my own, and helped to run two more, with another crowdfunding campaign currently in the works. I know the benefits of good organization, and I can take your scratch sheet of ideas and work it up into a complete and total campaign — good wordy words and all. From there, I can identify areas where we can create visual interest or complement the campaign’s textual elements with visual assets. I can identify areas where information may be unclear, or where backers may have questions.

Then, you and I work together to create a crowdfunding campaign that is accessible and looks good on both light mode and dark mode enabled browsers. Once the campaign information is settled, we’ll work together to create social media content for all of your crowdfunding milestones: launching soon, just launched, funding goal met, one week left, two days left, one day left, last day.

Once you’ve moved all of these things off of your plate and onto someone else’s, you’ll find it easier to focus on all the shouting you’ll be doing to get backers to come check out your awesome campaign.
